Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TradingView Strategy Optimizer ("the service"), which includes this website and the browser extension. By creating an account or using the extension, you agree to them.

What the service does

The service grid-searches the inputs of a Pine strategy through TradingView's own Strategy Tester and ranks the results in your browser. It is a research and optimization tool. It does not execute trades, hold funds, or connect to a broker.

Accounts and access

You need an account to use the extension, and you sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. One account is for one person: do not share it, and do not sell or transfer it.

Sign-in happens on this website. The extension picks up that session, so there is no separate extension password and no token to copy.

One TradingView account

Your access binds to the first TradingView account it is used with, and gated actions verify against that binding before they run. You can reset the binding when you legitimately change TradingView accounts, subject to a cooldown of 24 hours between resets and a maximum of 3 resets in any 30 day window. Circumventing the binding, or using one subscription across several TradingView accounts, is a breach of these terms.

Free and paid plans

The free plan does not expire and needs no card. It is limited in scale: up to 300 combinations per run, up to 2 swept parameters at a time, and up to 5 saved configurations. Paid plans lift those limits and add features such as CSV export, the combined multi-session view, alert creation and the advanced run controls.

The current plans and prices are shown in the pricing table, which reads directly from our billing system and is authoritative. Paid plans renew until cancelled, and you can change or cancel yours at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; your paid features remain available for the period you already paid for, after which the account returns to the free plan. Plan contents and prices may change for future billing periods, and we will tell you before a change affects a period you have paid for.

Limits are enforced on our servers at the moment an action runs. If the check cannot be completed, the action is refused rather than allowed, which is deliberate.

Acceptable use

• Do not resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer the extension or its unlock mechanism.
• Do not attempt to bypass the account system, the plan limits, or the account binding.
• Do not use the service to disrupt or overload TradingView or any third party. Keep sweeps to a sane size, and leave the pacing and throttle controls doing their job.
• Do not automate the service beyond the interface it provides.

We may refuse or suspend access that breaks these rules, and we log binding, reset and refusal events for that purpose.

Relationship to TradingView

We are an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TradingView. The service works through your own TradingView session in your own browser, and your use of TradingView remains subject to TradingView's own terms and to whatever your TradingView plan allows. You are responsible for staying within them.

Not financial advice

The service is an educational and research tool. It is not financial advice. Backtest results describe the past and do not predict future performance, and an optimized parameter set is exposed to overfitting by its nature. Trading carries risk, any decision you make based on the tool is your own, and we are not liable for trading losses.

Your data

Your strategies, sweeps and results stay in your browser; we hold account identity, plan status, the bound TradingView account identifier, usage counts and enforcement records. The privacy policy is part of these terms and describes all of it.

Availability and warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep it working against TradingView's interface, but that interface can change without notice, and features may break or be removed as a result. We may also change or discontinue parts of the service; if a paid feature is removed, you can cancel. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it ends access to gated features; the data stored locally by the extension stays on your machine until you clear it. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
